For an alternate but high performance protection, polyethylene (PE) fibre offers superior UV and water resistance to give you a much better performance under the elements. Although the fabric is not as soft as Kevlar, the PE UD fabric is much lighter and delivers as good a performance as Kevlar. Rated at NIJ Protection Class IIIA, the PE bulletproof vests will stop a .44 Magnum Semi Jacketed Hollow Point bullets, as well as repelling most handgun encounters and threats. The Standard style bulletproof vest covers a generous protection area of 0.28 m2 with a feathery weight of only 2.3 kg for medium (M) size (0.30 m2 and 2.5 kg for large size). Hopefully the only time you’ll realize you’re even wearing it is when you do get hit. Comes in a jet black finish and a pocket for use with a bulletproof plate.
